David E. Samara, MD, established his pediatric practice in 1983 and has had an office in the area since that time. His past education includes an undergraduate degree at Georgetown University and medical degree from the New Jersey Medical School. Dallas was the next stop after leaving the East Coast. He finished residency training at Childrens Medical Center of Dallas. He has been a past Chief of Pediatrics at two community hospitals. In his free time, he collects Chinese antiques and is often on the hunt for "something good".

| Jennifer L. Darrow, MD, joined our practice in September 2000. She previously worked at Rowlett Pediatrics. Dr. Darrow graduated from Trinity University in 1992, with focused interest in Biology and Art History. She received her Medical degree from the University of Oklahoma ("Go Sooners") where she was awarded the William A. Delaney, Jr. Award for "Best Exemplifying the Ideal Patient-Doctor Relationship with Children". She completed her training in General Pediatrics at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1999. Dr. Darrow is Board Certified in Pediatrics. She enjoys treating infants, children, teens, and helping parents raise healthy families. |

Malini Hebbur, MD, completed her Medical degree from a University in Bangalore, India. Her internship and residency training in Pediatrics took place at the Childrens' Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. During her internship and residency, Dr. Hebbur was trained in the clinical, outpatient, inpatient, urgent care and newborn nursery aspects of treating premature babies, infants, children, and teenagers. Dr. Hebbur is board certified in Pediatrics and previously practiced with Medical Group of Texas (formerly Kaiser) for 4.5 years. She joined our practice in March 2001. Dr. Hebbur is married with two children. |
| William Stanton, MD, joined our practice in August 2003. He is a Board certified pediatrician and has been in practice over 30 years. Dr. Stanton did his undergraduate work at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. He received his Medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, in 1975. He completed his internship and residency at Bowman-Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Dr. Stanton has also practiced medicine in Tyler and Sherman, Texas. He and his wife Nancy have two adult sons working in Addison and Dallas. |

I. Chioma Okammor, MD, is a graduate of the University of Missouri - Kansas City and the University of Kansas - School of Medicine. She completed her Pediatric residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Prior to that, she completed two years of Family Practice residency at the University of Texas - Southwestern in Dallas. Her medical interests include disease prevention, breastfeeding, and working in partnership with parents to raise healthy children. Dr. Okammor is married and has two children. She enjoys gardening, cultural studies, and spending time with her family. Dr. Okammor is Board Certified in Pediatrics and has been with Pediatric Place since 2003. |
| Loyette Stewart, RN, MSN, CPNP, Breastfeeding Specialist, joined our practice in November 2000. She previously worked at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano for 2 years as a Nurse Practitioner, and at Medical Center of Plano for 19 years as a Registered Nurse. Loyette graduated from University of Tennessee with a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing. She completed her double Masters degrees in Child Healthcare and Education at University of Texas at Arlington in 1998. She was also certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 1998. Loyette has four adult children and one granddaughter. |

Michele E. Hickman, RN, MSN, CPNP, Breastfeeding Specialist, joined our practice in 2007. She has been a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 2002 and also has experience in urology and primary care. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing in 1997, and a Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2002. She was certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board in 2002. Michele and her husband, Damon, have a daughter, Stephanie, and son, Matthew. |
